Stewart County Schools Celebrate Attendance Awareness Month with Class Attendance Challenge
Stewart County Schools would like to congratulate all three winning classes and thank YCCT for supporting our students and helping make the Attendance Challenge a sweet success!
The message is simple: Every day matters. Every minute counts. Every student belongs. September was Attendance Awareness Month, and Stewart County Schools challenged students to make school attendance a priority by being present every day and on time. Throughout the month, students and teachers worked together to improve attendance and demonstrate that showing up each day is an important part of student success.
To add a little friendly competition, Stewart County Schools hosted a Class Attendance Challenge. The class at each school with the best overall attendance percentage for September would earn a special treat as a reward for their commitment to being present and ready to learn.
Congratulations to our September Class Attendance Challenge winners:
🏆 SCES: Mrs. Brazier's Second Grade Class — 96.94%
🏆 SCMS: Ms. Hunter's Sixth Grade Class — 94.81%
🏆 SCHS: Mrs. Smith's U.S. History Class — 98.60%
As a special reward for their outstanding attendance, the winning classes enjoyed delicious Krispy Kreme donuts, generously sponsored by the local Youth Challenge Community Theater (YCCT) Organization.
At Stewart County Schools, we will continue encouraging our students to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Ready to Learn—Every Knight, Every Day!
Every Day Counts! Every Knight, Every Day!
