Stewart County High School proudly recognizes our JROTC cadets who recently attended the

Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Camp at Columbus State University. They are

Brysen Brown, Davarri Brown, Javarus Cannon, Jalescia Clark, QuaWanna Durham,

QuyWanna Durham, Masiah Edge, Antoine Lane, Samorah McCoy, Cor’Majay Shorter,

Arlecia Slaughter, DeKiya Thomas, MyAngel Vicente, and Aubrey Walton. Our cadets are

lead by 1SG Viva Jester and Col James Jackson.

JCLC is a premier leadership development experience that provides cadets with opportunities to

strengthen their leadership skills, build teamwork, enhance self-discipline, and develop

confidence through a variety of challenging activities and training exercises. Throughout the

camp, cadets participated in leadership workshops, team-building events, physical fitness

activities, and problem-solving challenges designed to prepare them for future success.

The experience allowed our cadets to represent Stewart County High School with pride while

learning valuable lessons in leadership, responsibility, and service. They also had the

opportunity to interact with fellow JROTC cadets from across the region, creating lasting

friendships and strengthening their commitment to leadership excellence.

We are proud of our cadets for embracing this opportunity to grow as leaders and for

representing Stewart County High School and the Royal Knight community with
