Students from the Stewart County Schools "LA" Reading Club recently visited the Columbus Public Library for an engaging learning experience focused on literacy and exploration. During the visit, students toured the library, learned about its many resources, and explored the children’s reading section. Library staff shared how students can use the library for research, reading, and educational programs that support academic success.
Many students had the opportunity to browse books and sign up for library cards, encouraging them to continue reading and learning outside the classroom. The trip helped inspire a greater love for reading while connecting students with valuable community resources. Students in attendance were Alasia Moses, A’myrah Johnson, JaKaylei Wright, K’Lyse Jones, Malanie Culpepper, Ma’Nika Culpepper, Paris Yancie, Shamari Green, Taniylah Rivers, Trinity Woodson, and Zion Gorman. Reading Club Sponsor, Mrs. Denise Tinker, chaperoned the trip.
