SCS Summer Bridge Essentials Backpacks are Here!

Before leaving for summer break, scholars in grades K-8 will receive a backpack full of learning materials including grade-specific books and flashcards. Parents and guardians are encouraged to help their children review this material over the summer break.

Stewart County School District Announces the Graduating Class of 2024

LUMPKIN, GA - The Stewart County School District is proud to announce its Class of 2024 graduation. This year, 21 exceptional scholars will receive their diplomas, marking a significant milestone in their academic and personal journeys. “We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2024,” said Dr. Michael H. Robinson, Superintendent of Schools. “Their commitment to academics, extracurricular activities, and personal growth has been inspiring. We are confident that they are well-prepared for the exciting paths that lie ahead.”

CTAE students  receive certifications
Stewart County CTAE Students Receive Credentials of Value

Through a partnership with Goodwill Southern Rivers, Stewart County High CTAE students were able to participate in SERVSAFE training. The training was conducted at the Goodwill Education and Training Center in Columbus,Ga. Students received training and were able to obtain ServSafe certifications by completing the assessment. This certification focuses on food safety and is utilized in the restaurant industry.

Stewart County Schools Host Successful Parents Knight Conversations / Family Literacy Knight

Even as the time for Parents Knight Conversations and Family Literacy Knight to begin drew near, community members continued to pour into the high school gymnasium. Thursday, April 25th, had arrived. Upon entering the gym, each attendee received a ticket entitling them to a free meal basket prepared by Joe’s Food Truck of Eufaula. The excitement surrounding the evening seemed tangible as Family Engagement Coordinator Sharon Jones stepped to the podium. She offered greetings, a warm welcome, and information on Pre-K/21st CCLC opportunities for youth in the school system.

Important Notice: Two-Hour Delay for Stewart County Schools District

LUMPKIN, GA - In anticipation of inclement weather, the Stewart County School District has decided to implement a delayed school opening for tomorrow, May 10, 2024. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of our students and staff as they travel to and from school. The delayed opening will result in a two-hour delay at the start of the school day. Staff members are expected to report to school at 9:30 a.m. We kindly ask that all staff plan accordingly and prioritize safety during their commute
