Class of 2023 Graduation Date Change

LUMPKIN, GA- On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the regular slated Board meeting, the Stewart County Board of Education voted to adjust its 2022-2023 school calendar to reflect a change to the Class of 2023 Graduation date. Superintendent Robinson proposed this change because the original graduation date falls on a day when most of our staff will be off contract. “The recommendation to change the graduation date to Saturday, May 20, 2023, allows more staff to participate to show an overwhelming amount of support for the Class of 2023, Superintendent Robinson said.” We will continue to make this an enjoyable and exciting year for each member of the Class of 2023.
